Collector Car Automotive Specialist, Consignment Specialist
We are looking to hire a Collector Car Automotive Specialist, Consignment Specialist to assist with our dealer accounts and online auction customer engagement processes to provide an exemplary experience for our sellers. The Collector Car Automotive Specialist, Consignment Specialist must have a familiarity and interest in specialty and collector cars, polished communication skills, fantastic people skills, and a high attention to detail. Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing and assessing auction vehicles, supporting dealers, and auction consignors as part of a small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well organized, responsive, and collaborate well with team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Respond to inbound consignor and dealer calls and emails. Initiate outbound communications.
- Review and assess consignor submitted collector and specialty vehicles
- Follow auction curatorial standards and help manage daily vehicle submissions
- Provide excellent customer support to dealer accounts and auction
- Proactively build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with dealer and direct customer channels that fosters revenue, retention, and growth
- Skillfully communicate the value of ClassicCars.com to dealers and direct customer channels
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Broad automotive knowledge (1950s-present)
- Interest and knowledge of collector and specialty vehicles
- Minimum of three years proven account management, or other relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for multi-tasking, and for managing heavy volume of emails and phone calls
- Thorough understanding of internal corporate vehicle listing requirements and vehicle revenue generating opportunities
- Proactive work style with a 'no excuses' mindset and focused on getting results
- Experienced and intimately familiar with Word, Outlook and Excel in a Windows environment
- Previous CRM experience and prior SalesForce experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of automotive dealers and auction processes highly preferred

Collector Car Auction Consignment Specialist
We are looking to hire a Collector Car Auction Consignment Specialist to assist with our online auction customer engagement processes to provide an exemplary experience for our consignors. The Collector Car Auction Consignment Specialist must have a familiarity with automotive auction processes and interest in specialty and collector cars, polished communication skills, fantastic people skills, and a high attention to detail. Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing seller vehicle submissions for completeness, resolving incomplete listings, launching and monitoring active listings, and supporting customer and dealer communications. The ideal candidate will be well organized, responsive, and collaborate well with team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Review and assess seller submitted vehicles for complete submission profile
- Manage correspondence with sellers and dealers. Respond in a timely manner with appropriate action
- Work within CRM, auction process IT systems, and MS Office
- Coordinate internal and external resources to fulfil timelines, deadlines, and auction scheduling
- Arrange auction listings, to include photos, text, videos
- Monitor assigned account listings and comments during live auctions
- Proactively build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with dealer and direct seller channels that fosters account revenue, retention, and growth
- Manage periodic buyer inquires
- Be familiar with ClassicCars.com services/solutions and propose products when applicable
- Automotive auction knowledge
- Interest and knowledge of collector and specialty vehicles
- Minimum of three years proven account management, or other relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for multi-tasking, and for managing heavy volume of emails and phone calls
- Proactive work style with a 'no excuses' mindset and focused on getting results
- Comfortable with technology and experienced with Word, Outlook and Excel in a Windows environment
- Previous CRM experience and prior SalesForce experience highly preferred
- Thorough understanding of what a comprehensive collector car auction listing should look like
- Ability to identify gaps in auction submission information and work with sellers to resolve
- Critical thinking and independent evaluation around seller's submissions
- Ability to evaluate vehicles for questionable history and/or sellers for fraudulent practices
- Diplomatic approach to business, ability to deescalate negative situations
- Knowledge of automotive dealers highly preferred
